You know what they say: more money, more problems.
An elderly woman in Virginia discovered the truth in that sentiment when she realized she had won millions in a Powerball drawing.
When Theresa Clark found out she had won $2 million, she had one priority.

“I’m going to have to cancel getting my hair done now,” Clark told her son, according to the Virginia Lottery website.
Clark, of Louisa, got the first five numbers correct — 27-35-41-56-60 — in the drawing on December 20, leaving just the Powerball number that she missed out on, according to the lottery site.
“Normally that wins $1 million. However, Ms. Clark spent an extra dollar for Power Play when she bought her ticket. That extra buck doubled her prize to $2 million,” according to the Virginia Lottery website.
She could not be reached by phone for comment, but publicly listed contacts for Clark indicate that she is in her 80s.
Powerball drawings take place weekly on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Though chances of winning are slight, the game can change lives — for better or worse.
