Gale Healthcare Solutions’ Tony Braswell Named a Top Staffing Leader in North America

Tony Braswell, the President and Founder of Gale Healthcare Solutions, has been named one of the most influential people shaping the workforce ecosystem across North America in the 2023 Staffing 100 North America. The list, published by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), recognizes top leaders driving growth and success in the staffing industry. Braswell’s inclusion in the list is a testament to his commitment to using technology to drive change in the healthcare industry.

Gale Healthcare Solutions was established to connect healthcare providers and nursing professionals in real time using technology, making a difference in the lives of people all across the country. Gale’s tech-based platform disrupted the antiquated staffing agency model by allowing nursing professionals to work when and where they want. Healthcare providers post their staffing needs, and nurses select the shifts they want in real-time. Gale’s platform also enables nursing staff to be paid within minutes after they finish work, bringing much-needed change to the traditional healthcare staffing industry.

Gale’s unique approach to staffing has revolutionized nursing by giving caregivers the freedom to choose their schedules, which can reduce stress, prevent burnout, and keep more nurses in the profession. Braswell expressed pride in his company’s ability to drive change and help people get the care they deserve.

Gale’s success is also reflected in the numerous awards the company has received. In 2022, the company made the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies and won a global Merit Award for healthcare technology. Braswell was named Florida’s Entrepreneur Of The Year by Ernst & Young LLP. Gale was also named Tampa Bay’s top health-tech company by Tampa Bay Inno and added technology leaders Kan Kotecha from Google and Tulsi Dharmarajan from Wheel as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer, respectively.

Gale has a national network of nearly 250,000 clinicians that can be tapped for contract and permanent placement positions, and it now operates in 40 states, with more than 60,000 W2 clinicians available for per diem staffing needs. The company opened a new headquarters in Tampa in the past year, located near St. Joseph’s Hospital.
